Delete Your Account & Data

Request permanent removal of your Goafie account and all associated data.

You can ask us to permanently delete your Goafie account and the data associated with it at any time. Here's how to request it, what gets removed, and how long it takes.

How to request deletion

Email support@goafie.com from the email address on your Goafie account, with the subject line “Delete my account.” If you can, include your account email or @handle so we can locate your account quickly.

We'll confirm the request comes from you, permanently delete your account and its associated data, and email you when it's complete.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the data Goafie holds for you, including:

  • Your profile — name, @handle, email, and avatar;
  • Your trips — flights, hotels and stays, dates, places, notes, and confirmation numbers;
  • Photos and attachments you uploaded;
  • Your travel statistics, status, and year‑in‑review;
  • Your friend connections and sharing settings; and
  • Your notification and app preferences.

What may be retained

We may keep a limited amount of information where we're legally required to — for example to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes and prevent fraud — as described in our Privacy Policy. Everything else is deleted or de‑identified.

Subscriptions: your purchase records are held by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by Goafie. Deleting your Goafie account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account first to avoid further charges.

How long it takes

We complete deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
